Masuk kedalam famili Monodactylidae, hidup di
Pantai, muara dan berkelompok; tubuh
oval dan sangat pipih, mulut kecil, sirip perut tidak ada, jari depan sirip
punggung dan dubur terpanjang, sirip ekor hampir lurus, keperakan, ikan muda
dengan alur hitam melintasi mata, ujung sirip punggung dan dubur hitam;
Indo–Pasifik Barat; sampai 20 cm.

cm.
